Situated about 32 km from Bikaner, the Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the famous wildlife parks in Rajasthan. In the past, this place served as the favorite hunting ground for the royal family of Bikaner. A big attraction within the sanctuary is the dazzling lake which is visited by numerous wild animals in the summer months to quench their thirst and get respite from the scorching heat. This lake also attracts a large variety of bird species, especially the Imperial Sand Gouse during winter months. Bird lovers visit this place to enjoy the sight of the colorful varieties of birds.
