Mathura is holy place because it is birth place of "Lord Krishna". Janmashtmi is celebrated as birthday of lord Krishna in the whole country especially in this city. Mathura is at its colorful best during this festival. Holi is also one of the major festivals which are celebrated with full joy and enthusiasm.

  • Brindavan :- Brindavan is also one of the famous pilgrims centre in India. It is 42 miles away from Agra. This city is famous because lord Krishna spent his childhood with its foster parents. This charming city has numerous temple and ghats built by Hindu kings of Amber, Bharatpur, and Orchha. Some of the main temples are Govindeoji temple, Sri Ranganath temple, Shahji temple, Banke Bihari temple, Radha Raman temple and many more.

  • Gwalior :- This royal city is 118 km away from Agra on national highway 3. A massive hill fort is fascinating to watch and its interior owes some striking features to the king Man Singh. You can visit this fort daily from 8 am to 6 pm. Other major attractions of this city are Archeological museum and Jai Vilas Palace which you can visit every day except Monday from 10 am to 5 pm.

  • Fatehpur Sikri :- Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri in1571 in the pride of the famous "Sufi sant" Salim Chishti. During the period of Akbar Fatehpur Sikri was Mughal capital for 14 years. This city is combination of Hindu and Islamic style that reflects Akbar's equality to all religion. It was a typical Mughal city with private and public areas imposing gateway. Main feature of this palace cum city are Diwan-i-khas, Panch Mahal, Khwabdag, Diwan-i-aam and Turkish sultana house.
