Bika Ki Teri is an ancient fort that dates from 1485. It was built by Rao Bika and lies on a rocky ground. The Junagarh Fort is a grand fort that was constructed by Raja Jai Singh. Featuring about 37 palaces, this fort complex has a number of interesting buildings including Phool Mahal, Karan Mahal and Chandra Mahal. The interiors of the palace features carvings, mirror work and many impressive paintings. Made of red stone, the Lalgarh Palace of Bikaner was constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh in memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. The palace is known for its stunning lattice and filigree work.
