Royal Orient Train Tour
Day - 01: Delhi, Wednesday, Departure 3.00 pm

Detailed Tour Itinerary: Your tour on Royal Orient begins from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station. Before you board the train, you can enjoy a short tour of Delhi, the capital city of India. This vibrant city of north India is also a culturally rich place which boasts of rich heritage that can be witnessed through its numerous historical monuments. Delhi that was established and ruined a number of times in its history has seen rise and fall of several empires. Main tourist places worth watching here are India Gate, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Old fort, Akshardham Temple, and Lotus temple. The Royal Orient leaves the station at around 3 pm. You get light refreshment, tea and the dinner on board.
Day - 2 : Thursday, Arrival 05:30 am, Departure 5:50 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The train arrives at Chittorgarh in the morning. This capital city of former Mewar state is an historical place and a symbol of Rajputana pride, valor and bravery. After breakfast, you drive to Chittorgarh Fort, a major landmark of city that lies atop a 180-m-high hill. The fort is spread in an area of about 240 hectares. You also visit here different temples and the Tower of Victory or Vijay Stambh constructed by Maharana Kumbha after he defeated Mohammed Khilji in a war. You return to railway station and board the train, which takes you to Udaipur, a heritage city in the state of Rajasthan. You are taken to hotel where you enjoy your lunch. Then you start sightseeing tour of Udaipur and visit the magnificent City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion Ki Bari, etc. You return to the train before Royal Orient departs for Mehsana. You enjoy dinner and your overnight stay on board.
Day 03 : Friday, Arrival 06:45 am, Departure 8:15 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning of day three of your Gujarat tour, you reach Mehsana. After breakfast, you visit the Sun Temple of Modhera. Then you are taken to Patan where you explore the Patola Weaving Center. You return to train for your further journey to the colorful city of Ahmedabad. The Walled City here reminds one of the rich heritage of the region. Here you get a chance to visit numerous monuments, amusement parks, museums, and forts. The local markets are filled with lots of items including artifacts, antiques, textiles, etc. You return to railway station and enjoy dinner on board.
Day 04 : Saturday, Arrival 08:00 am, Departure 8:00 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The fourth day of your Gujarat trip is reserved for visit to Sasan Gir, the abode of Asiatic lion. The Gir National Park of Sasan Gir is located in the Kathiwad peninsula in Gujarat state. The lion sanctuary here is the only remaining habitat of Panthera leo or Asiatic lion. Nearly 300 Asiatic lions roam in this sanctuary, which were on the verge of extinction at one time.
Day 05 : Sunday, Arrival 07:45 am, Departure 10:30 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The train arrives at Palitana in the morning of fifth day of your Gujarat tour. From there, you move to Sarkhej to visit the traditional Vishalla Village. You are served scrumptious meals on board.
Day 06 : Monday, Arrival 07:15 am, Departure 10:00 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The sixth day of your journey on Royal Orient commences your Rajasthan trip as you reach Udaipur. Also known as the city of Dawn, this beautiful land featuring blue lakes is a famous tourist attraction of Rajasthan. This city gives you a chance to enjoy beautiful sights as well as experience the luxurious lifestyle of the past rulers of the city. You visit the Lake Pichhola, City Palace, and other attractions of the city, as well as an excursion to Ranakpur. You also visit Shilpgram Craft Village before returning to railway station and continuing your journey to Jaipur.
Day 07 : Tuesday, Arrival 07:50 am, Departure 09:55 pm
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The train arrives at Jaipur on seventh day of your tour. After enjoying breakfast on board, you start Jaipur sightseeing tour. This colorful city, also known as Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan. You board an air-conditioned coach which takes you to the sightseeing tour of the Jaipur city and gives you a chance to visit Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), Jantar Mantar Observatory, as well as lively markets of the city filled with a wide array of handicraft items. You return to Royal Orient and enjoy dinner on board. The train departs for Delhi at around 9.55 pm.
Day 08 : Wednesday, Arrival 07:00 am
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The train arrives at Delhi Railway Station thus bringing an end to a highly enjoyable journey.
