Day 01: Delhi
Detailed Tour Itinerary: The first day of your India holiday tour starts with sightseeing of Delhi, the capital city of India. In this sightseeing tour of Delhi, you'll get a chance to visit the mighty Red Fort, Jama Masjid (India's largest mosque) both located in the old Delhi area. Later in the day, you watch various fine colonial buildings in the New Delhi area.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra

Detailed Tour Itinerary: The second day of your India holiday tour starts with boarding the train to Agra from Delhi railway station. Agra is known to have some of the best historical monuments of India. After reaching Agra, you check in at the hotel and relax. Later in the day, you visit the Agra Fort featuring red sandstone walls. You explore the white marble Pearl Mosque and various other sections within the Agra Fort. You can also visit local handicraft emporiums and other shops in the bazaars featuring various craft items.

Detailed Tour Itinerary: On day three of your tour, you visit the legendry Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this beautiful white marble structure dates back to mid-17th century. The exterior of the Taj appears to change its color with the position of the sun. After absorbing the beauty of the Taj, you visit Fatehpur Sikri, a town that served as the capital of the Mughal Empire. Established in 16th century by Akbar, this beautifully preserved town was a prime political center of that era. After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, you leave for Bharatpur by road.


Day 04: Bharatpur

Detailed Tour Itinerary: The fourth day of your holiday tour of India involves visiting Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and capturing the best of the bird life of this region in your camera. The bird sanctuary is part of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park and is a UNESCO world heritage site. This peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, offers a relaxing atmosphere. Visitors here get a chance to watch more than 360 species of birds. Some of the main bird species found here include egrets, coots, kingfishers, eagles, harriers, etc. You explore the sanctuary on a cycle rickshaw, a unique experience in itself to enjoy. Later in the day, you board the train for Ranthambore National Park, a home of wild tigers.


Day 05: Ranthambore

Detailed Tour Itinerary: Your accommodation at Ranthambore will be arranged at a lodge near the park entrance. Ranthambore, the abode of wild tigers, is a tiger reserve that operates under Project Tiger. During its initial days, the project was considered a big success. However, later on, poachers killed a number of tigers, thus drastically reducing tigers population within the park. However, the park still has good number of tigers for wildlife lovers. Other animal species that you can spot here includes monkeys, crocodiles, and a variety of bird life. In the morning of fifth day of your India holiday tour, you visit the park on a large open truck, known as canter. It will allow clear views of the animals within the park. You will enjoy a break before your second trip in late afternoon in the park.


Day 06: Jaipur

This city was established by Raja Jai Singh after he decided to abandon his Amber Fort in 1727. In your Jaipur sightseeing tour, you visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Amber Fort. The City Palace, an important landmark of Jaipur and former residence of the rulers of Jaipur, is now a museum featuring lots of manuscripts, royal garments, arms, etc. Nearby is located the Jantar Mantar, the observatory made by Jai Singh. Amber Palace lies a few miles away from the main city featuring some large courtyards and beautiful interiors. In evening, you can explore local markets filled with handicraft items, carpets, semi-precious stones, leatherwear, etc.


Day 08: Pushkar
