Detailed Tour Itinerary: Your 'South India Cultural & Wildlife Tour' starts with your arrival at Bangalore airport. You move to hotel and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore
Detailed Tour Itinerary: After having breakfast, you drive to Mysore in the morning of your South India tour and stop at Srirangapatnam to visit the Fort of Tipu Sultan. Within the fort are present the Summer Palace of Tipu and Darya Daulat Bagh (the tomb of Tipu). You reach Mysore and relax. Mysore is a beautiful city of South India known for its incense sticks, silk, etc. There are many attractive places in Mysore. In later afternoon, you visit Chamundi Hills, 2000-year-old Brindavan Gardens, KRS Dam, Sir Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, and Jaganmohan Palace in Mysore.

Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning of third day of your tour, you travel to Nagarhole National Park by road. The park is spread in an area of around 640 sq km and is home of a variety of wildlife including Nilgiri tahr, Asian elephant, bison, deer, leopard, wild dog, etc. After you reach the park, you enjoy safari to spot some wildlife in the park. Then you drive to Bandipur National Park that lies between the Western Ghats and the Nilgiri Mountains. You enjoy your overnight stay at a resort in Bandipur.
Day 04: Bandipur
Detailed Tour Itinerary: After having breakfast on fourth day of your South India trip, you move to explore the Bandipur National Park. Enjoy the elephant ride and return to resort to enjoy overnight stay.
Day 05: Bandipur - Madumalai
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning, drive to Madumalai National Park a home of crisp foliage and bees, tigers, gaurs, elephants and other animals. After reaching there, you check in at a resort and then move out to enjoy ride on park safari. You return to your resort for dinner and night stay.
Day 06: Madumalai
Detailed Tour Itinerary: You explore the park for the whole sixth day of your South India tour while enjoying all meals in the park. In the evening, you return to resort for the overnight stay.
Day 07: Madumalai - Coonoor
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning of seventh day, you enjoy safari in the park and then drive to Coonoor. Coonoor is a hill station situated at an altitude of 1839 meters. You reach Coonoor and stay at a heritage resort.
Day 08: Blue Train to Ooty
Detailed Tour Itinerary: After having breakfast, you visit the Sim Park, a beautiful botanical garden featuring different sections for different types of plants and trees. You also visit Pomological Station, a fruit garden with a variety of fruit trees. Then you take the Toy Train (blue train) to Ooty, a charming little town located on the slopes of the Nilgiris mountain range. After reaching there, you move to hotel, relax and then explore the town in the evening.
Tea Plantations - CoonoorDetailed Tour Itinerary: On ninth day of your South India trip, you visit botanical gardens and the Dodabetta Peak. Then you board the train to Mettupaliyam (toy train) and from there travel by car to Coimbatore. You enjoy your overnight stay at Coimbatore.
Day 10: Coimbatore - Madurai
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning you travel to Madurai by road which takes around 5 hours. You reach Madurai and move to your hotel to relax. Madurai is an ancient city famous for Meenakshi Amman Temple. You visit the temple in the evening.
Day 11: Madurai
Detailed Tour Itinerary: On eleventh day of your South India tour, you start your Madurai sightseeing tour. You visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace that dates from 1636. The two main parts of the palace are Rangavilasa and Swargavilasa. It is a magnificent building with beautiful ponds, theatre, and a nice collection of artifacts. You also visit the Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam Temple and the Gandhi Museum.
Day 12: Madurai - Periyar
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning of twelfth day, you travel to Periyar by road that takes around 4 hours. You check in at hotel and later enjoy the jungle walk in the Periyar National Park. You also visit spice markets in the evening. You enjoy your overnight stay in a hotel in Periyar.
Day 13: Periyar
Detailed Tour Itinerary: On thirteenth day, you enjoy bamboo rafting excursion in the Periyar River. If lucky, you may see a tiger, sambar, barking deer, or other wildlife. You return in the evening and visit spice plantations.
Day 14: Periyar - Kumarokom
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning, you travel to Kumarokom by road which takes around 4 hours. Kumarokom is an enchanting place full of mangrove forests and green paddy fields. On the way, you will see the beautiful tea gardens and rubber plantations. A brief visit at a tea factory will introduce you to the tea-making process. After you reach Kumarokom, you visit the Bird Park and later enjoy a backwater cruise on a houseboat. You enjoy overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 15: Alleppey - Cochin
Detailed Tour Itinerary: In the morning of fifteenth day of your South India trip, you will find your boat at Alleppey. From Alleppey, you drive to Cochin. After reaching there, you move to hotel and relax. Then you visit the harbour to enjoy the boat ride. You return to your hotel and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 16: Cochin - Bangalore
Detailed Tour Itinerary: On last day of your tour, you start your Cochin sightseeing tour. You visit Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate, Bastion Bungalow, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, etc. You will also see people using Chinese fishing nets that were first set up and used here between 1350 AD and 1450 AD. Then you reach airport and take flight to Bangalore. From Bangalore you take the flight for your country with sweet memories of India.
