Golden Triangle Extensions - Shimla
This Incredible India tour of 6 nights / 7days takes tourists to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Kalka and Shimla. The first day of this tour entails landing at the Delhi Airport and checking into the hotel. The next day the guests are taken around the promising places in and around New Delhi and Old Delhi. The same afternoon they leave for Agra by road. The next day the tourists are driven to Jaipur from Agra and on route, they stop at Fatehpur Sikri, 40 km from Agra. The town was once the Mughal Empire but it was later abandoned due to its scarcity of water. The same day tourists are taken to the interesting tourist spots in Jaipur.
The next day, the tourists leave for Delhi from Jaipur and on their way, they stop at Amber Fort. The next morning, the tourists board the Shatabdi train for Kalka. From there they are taken to Shimla where they check into the hotel for the night. The next day the tourists tour breathtaking Shimla, which was the summer capital during the pre-independence era. The next day the guests leave for Kalka station from where they board the Shatabdi express back to Delhi. After dinner that same night, the tourists are taken to the Delhi airport for their ongoing destinations.

Day 03 : Agra - Jaipur
Detailed Tour Itinerary: After breakfast drive to Jaipur (05 hrs. drive) - the pink city of India. The capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink, a century ago in the honour of a visiting Prince, ever since it has retained the pink colour. En-route visit Fatehpur sikri (40 kms. From Agra ) - once the capital of Mughal Empire and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Its fortifications and Palaces are in a wonderful state of preservation.
Upon arrival at Jaipur check-in at Hotel.
Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace - where the former Maharaja still resides in a part of it, but rest now serves as a Museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by a great astronomer Sawai Jai Singh onto drive past through Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Delhi
Detailed Tour Itinerary: After breakfast leave for Delhi (05 hrs. drive). Enroute visit Amber Fort - remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. Climb up to the fort on the back of an Elephant or by jeeps. Arrive at Delhi and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Delhi - Kalka - Shimla
Detailed Tour Itinerary: Morning leave by India's fastest train Shatabdi Exp. for Kalka.
Transfer to Shimla. Upon arrival at Shimla check-in at Hotel.
(You can also catch the metre - gauge Toy train from Kalka to Shimla for one of the most spectacular rail journeys you will ever experience . It is a 06 hours climb up the Shivaliks ).

Detailed Tour Itinerary: Shimla situated in the northwest Himalayas, is the summer capital of India during the pre-independence era, is now the capital of Himachal pradesh at a height of 2213 meters. It still preserves the regal Splendor of bygone days.
Morning visit Kufri and onto Chail - the former Palace of the King nestled in the thick Himalayan Pine Forests.
Afternoon visit the Mall, Scandal Point , Jakhu Temple on a hilltop, 2 Kms steep climb to reach a height of 2455 m. At the top of the hill is a historical shrine of Hanuman, guarded by a troop of monkeys. Christ Church on the ridge, reputed to be the second oldest church in northern India: and Lakkar Bazaar (Wood Market)-Selling souveniers made of wood.
Day 07 : Shimla - Kalka - Delhi
